It's an amazing movie with an incredibly important message. The story of Minamata needs to be told. JD's acting is astonishing, but the entire cast is amazing. Also, the cinematography of the movie, the direction, the music, the script - everything is just perfect. I was moved to tears by the movie and I think's it's a shame that the American audiences won't be able to see it. It should be an Oscar contender, instead of getting buried. So unfair. Thank you Andy for bringing this topic to light.

Minamata is a great movie based on a real sad story that deserve to be seen, it's so unfair that MGM do not want to promote it, they should reconsider it, because this movie is a masterpiece and because jd is not an abuser, he is the real víctim, justice for my gorgeous man jd, go jd go, never give up, we are with you, not matter what

I've wanted to give up on this so many times because it is so emotionally distressing. JD and his movies/music is something I turn to when I am down or stressed. To see this man who has brought so much joy into my life being dragged through the mud is heart wrenching. Even my own family gives me crap about it making it so much harder. To see time and time again, these corporations, whom he made so much money for, betray him over his personal life does make me want to give up. But I'm not going to give up. I believe in him and I will continue to stand behind him. As someone who also faced lies and defamation jeopardizing their career, I know how he feels and it hurts so much, but I got through it and I know Johnny will too. Thanks Andy for the inspiration and the pep talk. I really hope they do release this movie, especially in theatres, not just for Johnny, but to tell the story of the victims.

I’ll say this I don’t believe AH story of abuse and I’ll never watch anything with her in it again, I don’t like people making false allegations against people for their own selfish reasons ruining people lives, if I’m wrong I’ll apologize to her but I’m absolutely convinced JD is not an abuser to her but her to him or them to each other
