The problem is a 90 minute race with no commercials vs 5 hour race with commercials every 12 laps.

NASCAR's points system and TV coverage may suck, but at least there are more than 2 guys who can win on any given week and the cars can pass without DRS.

Depends. I'm a fan on both sides, I love Nascar and grew up with it. But since 2021 I've been supporting F1 more. From my side I think Both F1 and Nascar have their boring races and there exciting races.

I think Nascar is more fun to watch (if you understand it). drivers work their asses off to get to first. You could be 30th, but 23 laps later, be 2nd. You could be in first, but then a tire might blow out and you go to last. Also, it's just fun to see cars at their max RPM giving in their all.

I love passing and lead changes…, but I HATE, HATE, HATE stage racing… That, for me, has killed NASCAR racing…

I am from Europe and I thin Nascar is number one car racing series

F1 is a technical showcase of advanced technology applied to racing machines. I would rather watch an in depth show about F1 tech than a NASCAR race or an F1 race

Back in the late 90s I use to watch f1. One of the races a driver pulled over and stopped so Schumacher could win the race. That was the end of f1 for me.

Stage racing, play-offs, driver micromanagement, ridiculous rules, no transparency, SEVERAL HOUR long races with commercials every ten seconds, horrid coverage, bad "interface" shown on TV, no simple "need-to-know" technical explanation, no F1 level pre-race events, moronic marketing campaigns, horrible racetrack infrastructure...

It's funny how often you'll discover NASCAR drivers and crew in the pit areas discussing (and sometimes watching) F1, sounding as though they could be it's biggest fans. Respect!

I was raised on NASCAR with my parents taking me out to the tracks shortly after I was born. My loyalty will always be with NASCAR.

Both are very entertaining but should link up on the same track on the same weekend.
