This song type is called Tappa - a Punjabi folk music version sung in a particular ryhme. And this Tappa is named as Chitta Kukkar: originally written and sung by Musaratt Nazir in early 90's. It became so popular that there has been number of versions added by diff. singers at diff. times till today, and is considered a must have song played and sung in Punjabi weddings, both in Indian and Pakistani Punjab.
