Thank you for this video. You've answered several questions that I had. I should hopefully get an R model next year & want to get the taller screen & lower mudguard for road trips. Very pleased that they swap over. Just need KTM France to actually acknowledge my questions as to my nearest dealer. A little bit disappointed in their lack of response. KTM UK have been of more help.

I have to admit that amongst the all new medium to big adventure bikes, the KTM 790 and Africa Twin are the only one that have the look to match the purpose. All the others are either too bulky and edgy like BMW GS and Triumph Tiger, too "tame" (if I could say that) like Yamaha Super Tenere, or too urban, like Moto Guzzi 85 TT and all the other italian brands. Kawa is on its way out (KLR that is, because you can't say that Versys looks like an adventure bike), Suzuki didn't bring anything new to the table, so we are left with KTM and AT. I am talking about North American market.

I hope the mirrors on the R are not rigid and have a flex/swivel base socket. It is not if you tip over it is when.

If one installes the 790 adventure seat on the 790 Adventure R does it offers 2 steps like on the 790 Adventure? What is the lowest setting for the 790 R with the 790 seat?
