so clean my experience and I've seen it happen go with wider plate instead of 2 I have seen nails go in between the two plates

Don't need a clean out on the trap but you do need schedule 40 PVC not ABS

Roughing in on an exterior wall is a big no no. I don’t know where that is but in Toronto Canada where I’m from, or anywhere that gets sub zero temperatures, that’s not allowed due to freezing temperatures during the winter.

You don't need a clean out, nor does it need to be pvc, but you do need a Boca plate and fire caulk
