Watching their sister relationship bloom has been such a joy in my life. Sure they fight too. But I’m so glad they have each other.

this is really of topic, but you have talked a lot about how your children are proud of their Asian food. when I was younger, I used it have pack lunch, and my favourite thing to eat at the time was sausage rolls and a special sauce from Denmark, the sauce had pits in it and was yellow and Green, so my friends made fun of me calling it ‘baby vomit’ at first I was sad, then I thought.. they have never tried this sauce before?! wow they are missing out! as partly Asian, I bring in some of my mums home land foods to school, and I was made fun of it, like rice and yogurt, and so on, it really got to me, then when I found this page, it made me confident in what I eat, thanks to your children1

I watched Chucky with my dad and sister when I was 5. (I wasn’t supposed to watch with them but I wore them down to include me after I kept sneaking in the watch)
For years when I took a shower my sister stood guard at the door for me because the movie made me so scared. She has always taken care of me even when the things I wanted or needed didn’t make sense or weren’t rational.
We are both adults now and we both look out for each other.

As the youngest of four who grew up in an Asian American household 😂 I wish you could have given me that talk back then!! My older siblings *always* had me fetch things for them, and I was too scared of getting reprimanded if I refused!
