Scooter charging problem

My scooter charger blinks red and green while charging and never turns green when fully charged. After 3 hours of charging the battery only last about 7-10 minutes, Please help to replace or fix the problem

I know this upload years ago but just in case anyone looking for answer...It's not the charger. I had this problem with scooter. It's the battery inside your scooter, the connection is dead. I had to get mine fixed and then it worked.

I have the exact problem with my Electric Scooter Mercane Wide Wheel. Did you managed to solve the problem ? I have the scooter for 3 day now.. so it is brand new.

Is not the charger. Its the baterries on the scooter went bad. The cells can't be recharged anymore. That's what red & green blinking means

Probably the ground connection on the plug in came off. Just take it apart and solder it back on. This happens with a lot of these kind of plugins to the charger. I fixed mine last night this way.

what if the chrager doesnt have a light on it my hoverbored keeps bepping cause it ginna die

I had same problem.. issue is your battery is done. Prob a cell died..could be false contact but o doubt it.. to fix .. you need to replace battery or find dead cell and replace it. Buts its easier to just replace whole battery..

@MartyChristiansen I had similar principles involving my mobility scooter. All is not lost, replace both battery and charger. If device still under warranty this should be free to do.

Ok so what you need to is put your feet on the hoverboards moving pad than hit it three times it has to be hit by a bed or a wall then plug the charger in a extra outlet thingy plug it in and boom the charger is red

TRY CHARGING THE BOARD WITH A LOWER VOLTAGE CHARGER FOR A WHILE, THEN TRY TURNING IT ON AND CHARGING IT WITH REGULAR BRICK CHARGER. HOPE THIS HELPS.

The problem is in your charger i have also the same problem but i buy a new charger now its working perfectly. You should buy new charger

When you see it flashing do not unplug it
It’s the BMS calibrating the batteries. Could take up to 4 days to finish “up to”. You’ll get better range and performance after it finishes

It’s not a charger problem, if a new charger fixes the “issue” is because the new charger is undervolted and the BMS does not recognizes it so will put it into safe mode in which your battery will only charge at a safe level of about (85%). Can take months for the BMS to start calibrating for the new charger so at some point you’ll get the blinking again.

Blinking charger is a very healthy thing, it keeps the batteries healthy and all at the same max voltage.
Blinking means sending pieces of charge to the batteries.
It has to blink because some of your pack batteries are high and some low, so it must send pieces of voltages to let the high ones drop down and bring the low ones up to an equal voltage to the rest.

The BMS will slowly discharge the high batteries and let the charger charge the low ones, this process must be done in sessions of voltages to avoid the low batteries from overcharging or exploding. Each low battery cell is at a different low voltages so the BMS must calculate and cut the charge when the battery cell is at a designated level, once all low batteries are at the designated level of charge “equal voltage” then it starts charging the high ones with the rest of the low ones, will let the charger do the rest so the charger will stay red for about an hour so. After all this, your batteries will stay up and working at full performance.
Since the low batteries charge up to 95% of their original capacity, the BMS will lower the high ones to 95% to keep them all equal.
You may think that you lost 5% during that process but you must understand that when the batteries run at the same phase, the performance is grater in the eVehicle. Will result in longer range and faster speeds.
