My great grandfather had a food truck when I was a kid named “The Chuck Wagon”. he would setup in Oxford, Ohio near Miami University campus selling food late at night on the weekends as the bars closed. He was notoriously known for “Chuck Fries” but the local community always praised him for being such a staple. After he died a local restaurant approached our family and bought the recipe to Chuck Fries and still serve it to this day as a testimony to his legacy. So if you’re ever eat at J’s in Liberty, Indiana, think of Charles “Chuck Wagon” Kanode.
