Apollo’s theme being more melancholic is such a cool contrast. It really sets him apart right away, almost musically telling the player “you’re not with Phoenix anymore.” Also sets the tone for some of the serious moments in the game. And I just love that it has a more involved melody than most of the other themes. It’s so good

Apollo's objection track(alongside "Pursuit ~ Overtake" and "Klavier Gavin ~ Guilty Love") in the DS rom actually isn't a sequenced DS track. Meaning that it's not a DS track arrangement file that uses instrument soundbanks found in the game's rom, unlike most tracks in the game and generally DS games.
It's actually just a regular audio file. Not made with DS instruments.

The song was probably rendered in a DAW by someone at capcom using higher quality samples.

Even though it makes sense thematically that Phoenix keeps the Trials and Tribulation as his main objection theme, I’ll always miss the original. I actually couldn’t stop smiling when I heard the medley referenced in the great Ace attorney.
