Shaq would eat Rudy like bbq chicken. Shaq in his prime was an unstoppable force.

Shaq averaged 33pts/15.8rebs/4.8asts and was finals MVP while being “guarded” by the DPOY & one of the greatest defensive centers in Dikembe Mutombo.

Shaq in his Orlando days when he played his first 4 seasons played in the golden age of the big man and averaged 27.2ppg/12.5/2.8 blocks in an era with prime Hakeem, Robinson and Ewing. Rudy can't do anything to that man

A great way for Rudy Gobert to stay relevant and in the conversation. This is not a conversation...not even a question but I applaud him.

Rudy was the type of center Shaq destroyed. Especially, when he wouldn’t make Shaq even work a little on defense.

Joker and Embiid dominate Rudy every single time they play. Shaq can obviously dominate Rudy c'mon man.

I still have vivid memories of Shaq literally slamming the ball through the rim right into Mutombo’s grill. He abused him!! Prime Shaq was unstoppable!! Rudy wouldn’t stand a chance.

Shaq was insane during his Laker championship run. Dude was so dominant. Literally no one could stop him. BBQ chicken all day for Rudy. Healthy 50 piece!

It’s inhumane some of the things Shaq would do to Gobert

Shaq would make Rudy understand that his 3x DPOY awards don’t mean much since he would get embarrassed and destroyed by prime Shaq🤣🤣

Kobe Bryant once answered a question after he retired. “Who would Shaq be if he had your work ethic?” and this was his answer:

“He’d be the greatest of all time, ” Bryant said. “He’d be the first to tell you that. This guy was a force like I have never seen. It was crazy. Generally, guys at that size are a little timid and they don’t want to be big. This dude did not care. He was mean, he was nasty. He was competitive, he was vindictive. I wish he was in the gym. I would’ve had f–king 12 rings.”

Wilt literally stated “Shaq is more physical than me, if I saw somebody’s hand in the rim I’d let up because I didn’t want to break their hand. Shaq is lowering his shoulder plowing with no mercy”

I’m tired of all these Youngins disrespecting the big diesel. These boys just don’t understand we’re not just saying he’s the most dominant big man ever for no reason. When Shaq was on the court he literally made grown men terrified of even coming down to the paint he would drop step dunk on David Robinson and Karl Malone and Dikembe Mutombo in their prime! He made dunkers like Vince Carter scared to even come down to the low block the dunk the basketball. during the finals in 2000 to 2002 there were stretches where he was literally unstoppable

The funniest part about this is ESPN leaving up JJ's split screen and him just smiling awkwardly
