Just a heads up on Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six...I loved the book, but I went in expecting a snowy setting and it is not. The prologue starts on Christmas Day the previous year, but then the chapters taking place in the cabin happen in a thunderstorm in June. Just wanted to mention in case others wanted an isolated, snowy setting. Based on the cover, that's what I thought it would be. It's an isolated setting, but not snowy. Still enjoyed it though!

I loved The Honeys!! It was quite unique and definitely creepy. I thought it was fantastic. I also saw Betty on your shelf. This book is beautifully written but it wore me out and broke my heart. I did love it though. 4.5 stars.

John dies at the end is such a complete blast to read. I read it on kindle then went to the store and bought a copy just to lend to my friends.

Lakewood was a fun fast horror. I suggest that one.

Sooo curious to hear your thoughts on They Were Here Before Us! That book is wild. Also, SAME I just started reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow because I was like damn, I've been hearing so much hype about it I need to get to it before the end of the year! I'm really liking it so far!

I really liked The Good Sister but it's definitely like on the thriller/mystery side of things!

The Measure is one I would put on your December TBR. It’s excellent and unlike anything I’ve read before.

I would say that hidden pictures is a total drop everything and read now book! I absolutely loved it. I read it as soon as it came out and the hype is oh-so real. I paired the audiobook along with the physical book as well and it was such an awesome experience. I really loved the authors writing style. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!😁

Definitely read Foe. It is a quick read and I really enjoyed it and I've seen several other booktubers enjoy it! I'd also like to see what you think about The Winter People and Middlegame because they are on my TBR!

Books I've read that you mention, or show, in this video: Frankenstein, My Lovely Wife, House of Hunger, and Jane Eyre. I would prioritize House of Hunger--it's very gothic, very sapphic. It wasn't *the best* of all time, but it kept my attention and I enjoyed the lush writing and world building.

I made a “22 for 2022” list and what I learned is that I won’t be doing that again in the future lol. I think I read 6 or 7 of them. In 2023, I’m just fully embracing my mood reading!

I thought Hidden Pictures was good. But I'm not sure how much I would have enjoyed it if it didn't have the illustrations. They made it for me. I definitely want to read This Time Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. I absolutely loved The Good Sister. Sally Hepworth is one of my favourite authors ☺

I'd be interested in hearing what you think about A good girls guide to murder and Neon gods! Both are beautiful reads. I'd also like your thoughts on turtle all the way down. I've never read it but I've heard its good.

I read the arc of The Villa, I thought it was awful. Looking forward to your thoughts.

I borrowed my niece’s copy of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I am only 100 pages in but it is quite intriguing and has a true crime feel. Am really enjoying it so far! Easy read too
