with all that work you have put in this model, it is a real shame not to have installed a sound speaker system playing the drum that gave the oaring pace to the crew. You can do it for extra pizazz, it's not that hard to record some track from the Ben Hur movie and have it play while the model is being powered forward! There is a specialized company from Italy that makes these sound systems, usually for piston engines but maybe they can adapt something for you and the drum will sound synchronized with the oar speed!

I've build such a galley (well roman no venecian, no RC but it rowed over the water) decades ago, when i was about 15 years old. Always a great thing looking at such a construction.... - memories...

What an incredible build. Just imagine having been an oarsman on one of those boats, back "in the day". Must have been back-breaking! Especially when the captain wanted to water ski!
