KCS Winter Break Family Message 12/20/23

The holidays are upon us, and as Winter Break begins I hope that the entire KCS community gets a chance to rest and celebrate over the coming weeks.
I also hope that you’ll take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together this year.
Thanks to the diligent efforts of our students, the dedication and skill of our educators and staff, and the strong support of families, we are making measurable progress.
Knox County is an incredible community, and every day our schools are doing the hard work that students deserve.
I couldn’t be more proud of our team, and I hope that if you see a KCS educator over the break you’ll take a moment to thank them for their efforts.
Don’t forget that classes resume on Thursday, January 4, and we’ll be excited to welcome students back into their buildings.
