That's some good basketball from both teams. Vegas has great ball movement. It looks like Indiana's next step is to improve the speed of their defensive rotations.

Indiana despite losing are still getting better. They were playing a talented team with arguably the best coach in basketball. Still getting better. They will be a really tough opponent the next year or so.

The way Tiffany Hayes explodes into the rim, you could not tell she is someone who had retired. She plays like she has 10 more years left in her legs. 😂 🔥

Congratulations to A'ja Wilson ...1st 1, 000 point player in WNBA history ...what's more amazing is her Player Efficiency Rating. PER doesn't just count what you do good, it counts the not so good and the bad. It doesn't count just offense it counts defense and other aspects of the game that fans newly arrived to the sport don't know the value of. "PER strives to measure a player's per-minute performance, while adjusting for pace. A league-average PER is always 15.00, which permits comparisons of player performance across seasons. PER takes into account positive results, including field goals, free throws, 3-pointers, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals and negative results, including missed shots, turnovers and personal fouls. The formula adds positive stats and subtracts negative ones through a statistical point value system. The rating for each player is then adjusted to a per-minute basis so that, for example, substitutes can be compared with starters in playing time debates. It is also adjusted for the team's pace. In the end, one number sums up the players' statistical accomplishments for that season."

All-time great season 35.0+
Runaway MVP candidate 30.0–35.0
Strong MVP candidate 27.5–30.0
Weak MVP candidate 25.0–27.5

A'ja Wilson's PER is 35.46 based upon PER, 35.00 is supposed to represent the greatest season of all time.... and she is higher than that.... Let's compare with other WNBA Leaders:

Napheesa Collier 25.5
Breanna Stewart 25.0
Brittney Griner 21.1
Nneka Ogwumike 20.9
Caitlin Clark 21.0
Dearica Hamby 20.6
Aliyah Boston 20.3

MVP race ? ...there isn't one

Nikola Jokić leads the NBA with 31.00

So frustrated how this game was unevenly officiated. When Caitlin Clark gets a technical for showing frustration towards herself, not to any official or a another player, that is just ridiculous. And then to penalize her for raising an eyebrow each time with offensive fouls when many Fever players were elbowed in the face and no fouls were called on the Aces, that was just petty. The psychological warfare on the Fever truly undercut their game. I would have LOVED to see if the Fever could match up with the Aces on an even playing field, but the last two games showed how little faith the refs had in the Ace‘s playing ability.

Indiana getting better but the Aces are getting even better! Indiana plays no defense at all! The Fever cannot stop this Team and if they cant stop them they have no chance in the playoffs because the intensity rises even hire.

I think today is the day I become an WNBA fan. First highlight game I’ve ever personally searched to watch and I was not disappointed! Impressive game. Some nice play calls in the fourth qtr by LV coaches. Glad to see fans packing arenas!

What Clark has is something that cannot be built in the lab she was born with it. She just has to control her emotion, don't let bad plays get into her head put some weight and she should be ready to appear in a championship appearance.

There's at least 3 Ace players the Fever can't stop, or haven't figured out how to yet. Going to be a short post season if Fever doesn't pick up its defense.

Aces sweep!
Chelsea was the Aces clutch player. Great game from her! Kelsey P was on it today!
A’ja’s defense and crashing boards!
Jackie keeping that lock down defense!!
Tiffany coming in being that bench spark!

And Kelsey Mitchell is the Fever’s best player! She’s crazy good!

Clark is a liability on defense. Their tall ladies are pretty soft on defense too.

Just something to consider,

The top 3 college scorers are in the same floor. (1)Clark (2)Plum (3)Mitchell

Great offensive execution by LVA. Majority of the score are of CC breakdown.

Fever defense is atrocious to watch 🤦🏽‍♂️

Fever are in good shape for such a young team.

They need to improve their defense. Guard Wilson like Clark is guarded and deny her the ball which will disrupt their offensive flow and make Wilson work much harder. And run people off the 3 point line and make them take 2 pointers.

On offense run more and push the ball up the court. Make the Aces run hard. And boost the shooting percentage. It was an off night for CC but that will change. Go for 90 plus points per game so need to pick it up.

Aces were standing 24-12. People who act like Fever is a crap team after losing to them must be the bandwagon types.
