Prehistory of Acc Gilles Deleuze Difference and Repetition Lecture 2 Introduction
Показать описание
In this video we will finally return to Deleuze's classic text Difference and Repetition to cover the Introduction section in depth. However, because this is such an extremely challenging text, which I say as someone has been trying to read this book for the past 14 years, we will also be working through two different reader’s guides to the text, written by Henry Sommers Hall and by James Williams. In this section, Deleuze tries to get us to think about repetition without any reference to the two things we usually subconsciously associated with it: generality and law, by overturning our views on scientific experimentation, the Kantian moral law, and the interplay of the comprehension and extension of concepts in recognition.
