When I listen to this song I think of an old friend of mine. We haven’t spoken in years and I’m afraid that I realized how valuable he truly was to me at a time that was too late. I think about us embracing each other and then offering a reassuring pat on the shoulder before we turn away and depart. No words are spoken. Man this guy blew up considerably quick, but there's a good reason for it. He's actually an extremely talented musician as well as a poet. Plus it doesn't hurt that his sound is also derived from other successful artists like Lorde and MGMT. Hope he helps usher in a new wave of pop, because we need more talented folks like Børns at the forefront of pop.
