LEGO Bricklink Designer Program Series 6 Sets Announced

Today Lego have announced the 5 designs that will be coming in the Bricklink Designer Program Series 6. An interesting selection of sets have been chosen this time round, should be something for most people to enjoy. I will go through all 5 designs and give my thoughts.

Gold Mine is great looking. I do love the Outlaw Den as well. I love me some Wolfpack. Prices will be the deciding factor

I like the Art Factory (Brickester 3rd in a Row - Brick Cross Train Station, The Art of Chocolate now Art Factory 👏) and Castle set. The Art Factory has a real cool sliding wall design too. So long as I can get the Vampire Castle in Series 5 I'll be happy.

We have around 11 months to decide our choices (if any) and of course circumstances will change in that time. Because these series are coming thick and fast our choices will become more selective. On the outset they all look fantastic but personally will probably only buy the wolf pack hideout, just because it isn’t massive and the faction it represents.

Honestly, that camping tent / jeep is a complete waste of a spot. It's a build that you can easily MOC on the side. That spot should have been given to the Vintage Food Truck.

The rest aren't my numbe #1 picks but they are up there. Not too surprised by any of them being the finalist.

So sad the sushi restaurant and the fishing house didn't make it. But I'll be picking up the gold mine, sequoia and off road adventure.

Not sure about the committee that chooses these. I like the gold mine but not too excited about the others. The last set reminds me of the Lost City we just had in release 3 that didn’t sell well. If the off road set was to scale with the camping trailer we just had then maybe… but it’s not. The sequoia lodge probably could use more detail. The art factory is not something I would choose. That’s all next year’s problem.

Bricklink need to publish the voting numbers if they are going to carry on claiming that it is the voting that counts and chooses which sets are the winners. There is no way that the £13 Land Rover with a few poor looking trees that anyone could moc up in half an hour that only has 22 comments received more votes than the Sushi Restaurant that has over 150 comments or the ship Fortuna with 120 comments. Publish those voting numbers Bricklink, PROVE ME WRONG.

oh awesome, what a great surprise... I forgot the decision was due! Haven't watched the vid yet, but super happy about the gold mine, and art factory...actually love all 5 and all stood out before the selection., Don't recall what other castle sets got edged out, but i will grab this one happily!

The gold mine set is missing something. A narrow gauge steam locomotive. Seriously dude, how can you make a narrow gauge gold mine without a narrow gauge steam locomotive? Just pitiful.
