Very many thanks for this clear explanation. I had wondered for a long time how gaida players can get such different minor tunings - and play major and minor in the same piece; now, from your close-up shots of fingering and the special tuning adjuster, I understand completely!

Many thanks! At last I understand that the chanter reed needs to be rotated in its socket as well as being pushed in and pulled out to tune it. Gold dust!
