George's guitar sound was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly what and where to put things. Beautiful guitar work with John. Paul's Bass was steady and essential.

6:17 - You can hear someone (Paul ?) doing a quiet little 'he's as blind' to check he's got the pitch right before coming in on the vocal.

It is beautiful. One of my favorites. It always amazed me, how...at the tender young age of 25...that John, could come up with lyrics such as these.

Paul's bass playing was always their secret sauce.

Granted this may be old news, but Paul found the harmonies on this track particularly difficult to sing. Having been a singer in a choir, I can understand that and just sit in awe of what these four young lads (largely untrained in voice) managed to achieve - just with their vocals. Miraculous...as is everything about this group.

Lennon as a songwriter and recording artist, knew he hit the jackpot having McCartney sing harmony, play bass, and help write songs.

One of my favorite Beatles songs, just for the 3-part harmony. A real treat being able to hear the isolated vocals.

You can hear the bass better in the guitar part than in the bass section

I've probably said it before, but these isolated tracks are revealing and inspiring and i love that about them, but i think my very favourite part is noticing all the 'flubs' they could convincingly cover in the mixing--just accidental/wrong chord landings usually, but it not only gives a 'warm, rich' human-dimension to the sound, but it makes me feel less self-conscious for the fact almost everything i play has one of those in it somewhere. I just don't 'have it in me' to go for that hard perfection sometimes--it's more about the 'feel' than rigidity. Their humanity shows beneath the skirts of their great songwriting and George Martin's amazing brain and ears.
I may be partially writing this because of a recording meltdown i've been fighting for 24 hours and i've just decided 'fine, it's good enough, whatever.'
This upload brought a smile to me--like pretty much everything you upload :) But it kinda helped me cope with my recording frustrations too... Thanks again DLD2 Music!

At the punch-in at 6:17, a faint bit of background melody. Paul maybe?

Listen to the bass for some reason sounds like it's coming out of the speaker from the backseat of a car. It makes me feel like I'm driving through the night.
