Ranking All Undertale Boss Songs

Greetings, travelers! Today, I'll be ranking all Undertale boss fight music... Pretty self explanatory.

So I've been getting some notices lately that Spider Dance is a reworked version of Ghost Fight, hence it is why it's used for Mad Mew Mew, and listening to all three of them, yeah I can see the resemblance. Doesn't change my ranking for the song, but I can understand it better now.

I've also been made aware that Undyne hasn't met any humans before Frisk (an error I made during my Spear of Justice ranking) so yeah, my bad! 😭💀

Eventho I disagree with some of those picks (like Hopes and Dreams in C Tier), I still gave it a like because the video itself was well-made.

Honestly, Hopes and Dreams is about the moment for me. Its not a song i go back to, but its a fight ill go watch. The moment when the color and movement comes into the fight was chill inducing. But over the years I found that i dont have much to say about it. Its a hopeful fight song. Compared to something like Battle Against the True Hero that has so much depth to it it just doesnt stack up. Still, i do think it is a very well composed song.

I feel like not enough people know that the soul segments of Your Best Nightmare were based on using the same motif in different musical modes, which is an iconic choice for giving each of the souls their own personality and making them sound unsettling in each new version, leading to the payoff with "Finale" in a familiar mode. I don't know if you knew that, but it would have been an interesting factoid to include if so.

I’d say The Mad mew mew song is better than spider dance. It fits the intensity of the fight and is a nice jam for a battle that is only available on switch

I myself would bump Mad Mew-Mew up by one, and I can understand where you're coming from with Hopes and Dreams and SAVE the World, however my only gripe that I've ever had with them is how repetitive they are. Honestly, thats also how I feel about Megalovania (I know, very unpopular opinion), but its a bit too repetitive for my liking. The only thing going for all of the songs (even Power of -NEO- before the full song was given) is how catchy they are.

I'd like to see a teirlist over all of the Deltarune bosses if you'd do that. I must say that I absolutely love that you explain why you're putting a song in a certain tier and im very curious to you're thoughts on Deltarune.

Your misunderstanding Hope and Dream.

The battle is a conclusion of Undertale (because Genocide route isn't suppose to happen)
That why he put some leitmotiv like Undertale because it's the end and Your best friend because he was flowey.
Damn even Toby said that was the hardest song he ever made so show him so respect !

Fun fact: spider dance IS a rework of Ghost fight and uses it’s Motif and the reason ghost fight and dummy use the same motif is because they’re cousins and mad mew mew is the mad dummy possessing a doll so that’s why it reworks the ghost fight motif
