Salaam dear brothers and sisters.

The first time I read in surah Nisa ayat 125 that Allahswt calls Nabi Ibrahim His swt friend. That was the day I loved him a.s. For the Lord of the Worlds to call you His swt friend was enough evidence that Nabi Ibrahim is beyond blessed and special. I truly love him a.s and pray I meet him a.s in the hereafter Ameen

Prophet Ibrahim is the best of mankind, after prophet Muhammad.
There are many reasons for that.
One of them is that after Ibrahim AS , all of the prophets descent from him and Allah has chosen him in the sense that it would be from his offspring.
if you think about how incredible that is that Ibrahim AS reached adulthood being rejected by all of his people all of his people with the exception of his wife Sarah, his nephew Lut AS,
He reached a place of adult hood and he did not have a single follower amongst his people nor did he have a child and there is a moment which will talk about Ibrahim AS is asking the Allah, that grant me a righteous children that will inherit this message that will continue on this message and Ibrahim AS is making this that supplication as an adult and this is after spending Long time with his people. there is almost a sense of finality that he is expelled from from his people, by his people after being thrown into a fire and he is leaving them and he does not know what would exist on the outside of his people his Dawah was to his people primarily his call was to his people primarily all of those years he doesn’t know what’s going to come and look at what Allah gave him, not just multiple children and grandchildren but made him the source of Prophet hood for everyone that would come after him so he has a lineage of prophet hood that the descents from him from multiple directions and you know the greatest human beings after him all come from him so this is a special gift that Allah gave him.
