Bio do Orador:
Dalcimar Casanova é pesquisador na UTFPR - Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, com foco em aplicações de métodos inteligentes em diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Seus principais interesses são aprendizado de máquina, deep learning, grafos convolucionais, visão computacional, redes complexas e fractais. É membro do PPGEE, I2A e sócio da empresa VisAI.
Sobre o curso:
A curso Intro to Machine Learning aborda aspectos fundamentais da área de aprendizado de máquina e reconhecimento de padrões. O público alvo são estudantes de graduação que estão tendo o primeiro contato com a área.

Esse curso é lecionado no Programa de Pós Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica (PPGEE) e como optativa do curso de Engenharia da Computação e Engenharia Elétrica, ambos da UTFPR, campus Pato Branco.
