Looks great, as long the gameplay is NOT soulslike!

I would hate the game to be a isometric souls like - I want an arpg…

Definitely a wait and see. Souls-like combat and a relatively empty open world. Definitely a really nice looking world but so far there's been nothing else..

The most important part of ARPGs have nothing to do with the graphics. It's the systems that give a game longevity. Not saying the other aspects of graphical fidelity and related things should be ignored

I like the way they are going. If you remember how sacred 2 was structured with their world, titan quest 2 is feeling like they are going that route with hand crafted world with hidden secrets. Can't wait for more

All I want is grim dawn, prettier, in titan quest theme. I would throw my money at it. Doesn't feel like a huge ask.

TQ2 is my most anticipated game, the reason that keeps me playing TQ1 is the class/skill system. Want to be a 1 dagger rogue, you can, want to be a hoplite, do it, magic tank, absolutely. No other games really allow you the freedom of TQ1. I hope they don't lose sight of that.

Will there be yellow paint to show where you can climb ledges?

Indeed the world looks empty, they need to increase enemy quantity a lot.

The art does make it look really good. I do worry about two things specifically about this. Mob density and how they plan to scale the difficulty. If it is like No rest for the wicked, I might just not bother. I like NRFTW, but the way they have set it up to where most of the basic weapons required specific stats to get full benefit of said weapon is a problem. If they really wanted you to be able to try weapons before committing to one specific weapon, they would have given you a chest with one of each when you wash up on the beach and had the basic non magic weapons stat requirements stet to your starting stats. My second worry is how much trouble will I have when starting out. Will the game ease me into the combat or will it say, here is a stick good luck. I don't mind hard games, but some of the ones I have tried do not get the pacing to the difficulty right. If it is going to be a souls like combat system, then they need to get the pacing right before they release it.

The move towards more souls like is going to be terrible for the genre. I hope the No Rest for the Wicked trend doesn’t take off so much that every developer tries to do it. I’m also hoping that old school hack and slash games don’t start leaning too much into the MMO thing. Lost Ark looks amazing but I hear nothing but horror stories about it daily requirements and guilds are practically mandatory. I mention Lost Ark cause it really does look like an amazing ARPG that’s just went a little too heavy on the MMO side of things we don’t want hack and slash games doing too much of this.

If you want to *really* have fun with TQ 1 and have the old TQ + immortal throne in your Steam library, play the Lilith mod, or even better Lilith + masteries. It doesn't work with the new TQ with expansions, you need to have the old TQ/IT.

If they make it close to or better than Grim Dawn, I would be hyped. But if they make it soulslike (like it seems like they are), I'll probably just pass, like I did with No Rest for the Wicked.. which is really unfortunate, because I loved the original Titan Quest.

If they go with a Soul's style game then I'll hard pass on it. If it is a lot more like Diablo 2 / Titan Quest 1 / Last Epoch in style, then this has potential to be my top game (which is currently Last Epoch).

Can you review Exanima? That game really deserves a lot of attention(be warned though it is for fairly 'hardcore' gamers and makes the Souls games look like children's games in comparison).

Might be a surprise hit if they manage things well.

Not many are really waiting for it or expecting it to match the current big three.

I think hand drawn static maps are superior to randomly generated. However, there is no question asked the dungeons, raids or whatever will need to be random for replahability.

I don't know many who enjoy doing NM dungeons that much in D4. It's the best XP and must be done for glyph XP, but I doubt many would go otherwise.

I think they are pisting these images without the big mobs and stuff. Maybe they are trying to just show off more of the environment.
Maybe they editied out most of the mobs for that reason.. hopefully on the full showcase it will look more lively :)
We will see! .but man, it sure does look beautiful and im excited!

I really, REALLY hope they do NOT go the route of souls like games here. I just want another great ARPG that the first game was good for.

Im over the souls like gameplay stuff. If i want to play dark souls ill redownload one of my souls games. These other games never pull it off as well as they do and they.mostly feel like the game would have been better with trasition arpg gameplay and skill/ passive trees.
