I don’t get it. Didn’t people lose their jobs and fall on hard times prior to the COVID-19 pandemic too? We didn’t have anyone sayin we needed eviction moratoriums then. I’m not saying a moratorium is right or wrong, I’m just wondering if “people falling on hard times” is the standard…wouldn’t that have been true for literally EVERY eviction before COVID?

Los angles is very bad, tenant don’t pay rent but landlord can’t do nothing.

80 percent of what is owed....this is a shake down clear and simple. It should be 80 percent followed with a tax credit...

Yeah, that sounds about right. In the meantime I see "help wanted" and "now hiring" signs all over businesses everywhere, but strangely no one wants to work. People make me sick.

So the landlords eat 20%?.. that horrible. Housing people should NOT be on the homeowners backs! How about using tax dollars given to the government handing out free money? Landlords should be made whole!
