KupSurvey 2015

Dr Rose Cory and her lab team sample the Kuparuk River from its headwaters in the Brooks Range to its mouth at the coast of the Arctic Ocean, a distance of ~ 350 km. The team samples the river water as it flows from the mountains to sea to study changes in the water chemistry that are important for the Arctic carbon budget. During the survey, the team always stops to refuel and warm up with some tea and snacks at the Prudhoe Bay airport.
