I was wearing ripped jeans in the 70’s before it became a fashion style. I remember I had a fav pair of jeans, straight leg dark blue, they had orange double stitching down the outside and inside seams. Wore them with my black suede platform shoes. Then I graduated to wearing Frye boots. Those tan high, over the calf boots with the harness around the ankle. Wore those for so many years that the hair on my calf’s wore away and no longer grows.
