2 min: How to: Kidde change battery Smoke and carbon monoxide detector 9 volt battery

Counter clockwise rotate to remove
Press on plug.
Open trap door.
Put new battery in making sure rotate tang is down
Close trap door.
Plug in the plug
Rotate CLOCKWISE to install. I kept saying counter clockwise to install.
Well I was kinda ticked off at this detector.

Reminder: If it beeps twice it means the whole alarm is over 10 years old and needs to be replaced. Even with new batteries it will continue to beep.
