Sleeping on the price (and I'm UK where we seem to be getting an even more raw deal) - I'm fine with the console price, will absolutely get the pack in mario kart. Free Zelda upgrades really really help. And I just hope the other games aren't all £80, I hope that is just for the major games. But Gamecube as a bonus Day One? I'm in. My OG switch is still going strong from Jan sales 2018. This is a must buy for me.

Honestly I think prices are an issue for Nintendo but the worst thing is their messaging - tell us the prices - explain why (cost of goods, tariffs etc) and explain that not all first party games will be £80, give us prices for the rest asap.

I only watch YouTube signed out and I have been watching gamer videos from different content creators pretty much every day for the last couple of years. This video warranted signing and subscribing. People forget that Nintendo are originators, every other console is always an imitation inspired by what Nintendo has already done. They waited all these years to give us the same excitement that I got going to the mall every day after school to stalk the NES before I got one back in n the day. This is aspirational machine, expensive but worth it.

imma say it guys, while docked. games feel a LOT like Series S. i mean 1 to 1. but it can also freaking transform into a handheld with a g-sync, HDR, high-refresh rate display. the console is a homerun. $450 is a steal with all that tech.

2:25 minor correction, the SL and SR buttons are not the magnets. Like you said, they're metal. They connect to the magnets embedded within the console

Next question is stick drift. Some of the alternative technologies people would like to see on the Switch 2 are affected by strong magnetism. So does that mean we can't get that on the Switch? Or does keeping the magnets in the console keep them far enough away?

Just having upgraded versions of the big switch 1 games, either officially or through brute forcing dynamic resolution games to not drop frames is so amazing. That already provides me with hundreds of hours worth of content.

The performance is amazing. Usually big Nintendo games are 30 fps and 60 for mainly multiplayer, but seeing Metroid prime in 120 and totk at 60 and Mario kart at such a high resolution is amazing. The only gripe I had with the switch was its power, and now it’s amazing, like it can run elden ring and cyberpunk too! Much more powerful than I thought, maybe even more than the steam deck.

I was pretty bummed by the price and was actually considering not getting it all but this video sold me. I definitely won’t be getting it at launch I think but I am definitely gonna get it for sure.

Just to confirm: at 8:40 in the video, it was said that the new Joy-Con Grip has GL and GR buttons. Are you sure? I looked at the pictures Nintendo PR sent out, and it looks like the regular grip doesn't have them; only the Charging Grip does.
