Wow, I love this Roland set! The design is so chic and modern, and the colours, the look of the texture....😋

Nick amazes me. He could put together some pots and pans, or assorted garbage cans and still make them sound like a million bucks. Great video.

I have the vad506 and I use a custom kit .. did take me some time to EQ it properly and many features I’m still learning but ohhh boiiii sounds sooo good out in front mix. Some people don’t even notice it’s an electric kit🤣.

I have a td12, and I don't really care if they look like real drums or not. But the thing is in order to us these kits in a live situation, you first of all need a great monitor. And a great PA. Also if you don't have a sound man, you will have no idea what the mix out front is.

5400$!!! Gezzzz. Personally I'll go the route of Yamaha, the kits sound better. But if you have like EZ drummer, then the brand of these E-drums wouldn't matter.

Drummers begging for drums to sound like drums.
Roland is like, "Here are some shells that look nice".

What’s the point of having the full depth and diameter of the drums, I thought the point of electric drums is to be compacts and transportable.

incredible kit. the most complete kit for the money. great video and playing as always. but i think its really important to showcase the superior drummer abilities of these kits. To me I think its the ultimate way to play and the inevitble future of drumming. again great video glad to see E drums getting attention.

Surely one of the main appeals of any electronic drum set is that you don't have to carry around full sized shells or deal with the bulk when you're setting them up. Not sure why you would buy all that wood and metal that doesn't do anything.

Hi, congratulations on your execution, I wanted to ask for some advice. Because I have a problem that I can't solve. I purchased a TD50X module with the Digital, Roll, Ride and Charleston set. I use brushes very often, for the type of music I play. Unfortunately I wasn't able to set up the snare drum, to have a KIT that would satisfy me. Previously I had a TD30 with its Brush KIT, which worked perfectly. I contacted Roland several times, but I realized that they know less than me. The TD50X has a specific snare that should work with the brushes, in the 958 position of the instruments. I attributed this snare to a KIT, but the performance is really bad. I also looked for some Brush KITS on the internet that I could buy, without finding anything. I am really disappointed with my purchase, which cost me 3, 700.00 euros. It is possible that the Rolanda in the TD50X KITS does not have a brush KIT already defined. Can you help me solve the problem. Thank you

No matter how hard they try, there's nothing like playing an acoustic set. It sounds good for a practice kit, but would not use live. I have an electric in my bedroom for practice. Live kit is Ludwig

I'm moving to a set of these from an old td8. The sounds on either aren't mind blowing and the response isn't perfect BUT the response is like night and day between the td8 and VAD. On making these sound better... How easy is it to import new samples? Will I need a laptop? What's a vst? Apologies, I'm old and naive 😬
