Her suffering while being tried and incarcerated was really stressful, which can possibly cause her to suffer from both mental and physical conditions, not to mention her age and safety (where she experienced being held hostage by the hostage takers while in detention). But despite everything and knowing what she's fighting for, former Sen. Leila's strong spirit, especially keeping her faith in God, is really amazing.
