1.Just turn all small roads which are two way into one way. Give sufficient space for parking, footpaths, cyclists from the space recovered. Enforce strict fines for rule breakers 2.There are many key connecting roads within residential areas which reduce traffic on main roads, make sure they are zero error pothole free roads 3. Ensure 500 meters around all junctions big or small are white cemeted so that the traffic flow there is smooth as butter.

I will be honest.... 2 panelists have no idea what they are talking about !!!

Especially Ashish Puravankara 34:32 He is literally advocating for urban sprawl 35:30.
Push people outward !!!! thats the worst proposal ever !!!
Heritage is an ever changing thing. Just because some people were lucky to have come to a city a decade earlier doesn't mean new people should be denied access to live in those desirable areas.

Now I am not advocating for mega skyscrapers everywhere but 4-5 storey apartment blocks with High FSI should be allowed everywhere.

Also urban sprawl is more costly for a city to maintain then a more dense city. Why people think that density induces chaos is because of our bad transportation policy i.e. transportation based on personal vehicles like cars, 2 wheeler etc

Look at very very dense tokyo neighborhoods....they are very peacful. Because its not people that create choas & noise but car & bikes.

one main policy proposal should be to reduce the amount of space given to roads.. We should build very wide foot path....where people can just sit ...socialize & street vendors can also exist.
Online social space can't & will never replace physical social spaces.

Go to many places in Europe & East Asia...where entire streets are only made for pedestrians...its just wonderful to just sit & enjoy.
The last country we should learn from is the US !!! they have the worst city design policies.
