Meet the Artist: Valerie C. White (Mixed Media Textile Art)

Valerie C. White evolved from artist to textile artist, but isn't sure why there was a disconnect between the two. Nevertheless, this passionate award-winning artist began developing her talents as a young girl, and after a career as a teacher and counselor, she immersed herself in her art. She has studied with some of the best the art quilt world has to offer which has enabled her to trust her vision and taught her to work with a purpose.
