I wanted to shoot this bow for a little while to give you guys more than just the standard review EVERYONE else has done. This bow has lots of things that I think are an improvement, and somethings that went backward in my opinion

By popular request, here are some of my favorite items that I use out in the field. If you purchase via the below links it doesn’t affect the price on Amazon and a small portion of the sale will go back to support the channel:

Waited for your review, since my closest bow shop is now 400+ miles away by plane so I wasn’t going to waste my money and time to go shoot this thing till I heard your thoughts on it. Thanks for being as open, honest and unbiased as possible. Time to fly to Anchorage! Shout out to Full Curl Archery LLC #Sendit

This is one of your better reviews: the part on speed and what is true or needed in a bow was spot on - thank you.

I didn’t think the physical weight of the bow would matter too much to me, but after shooting the lift 33 compared to several others I think it was a big factor in me choosing the lift 33. It felt songood picking up and holding.

I love Matthew's bows i have a V3 but the prices for stabilizers is out of control

I have probably 500 arrows through my 33 and I love it, zero regrets in my purchase. People complain that "bows are getting to expensive" but they fail to realize inflation is a thing. A Mathews Halon from 2016 actually cost the same as a Lift 33 if you account for inflation.

Been waiting for this video. My lift 33 with uv slider will be here in February. I can't wait, feel like a kid waiting for Christmas 😂

My LIFT33 has turned out to be somewhat disappointing because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW IT SHOOTS…….. I made the comment earlier about my limbs being replaced 4 times and Mathews (SCHEELS The Colony TX) replaced my bow. Only to have the limbs on that bow splinter also. Those limbs were replaced on Monday and today (Wednesday) my limbs splintered again! Nothing out of the ordinary here; 31.5/72/85….. 29.5”/472 grain Sirius Gemini arrows w/ 50 grain podium titanium half out and 125 grain field point.

I'm getting 6-7 dps faster than my phase 4 33 witch witch the lift is rated 7fps faster than the p4

DUDE, I’ve been waiting for this video since launch. Had mine since late Nov. still waiting on the 80lb mods to come in. Love the bow. Great video!

If I get both 55 pound, and 65 pound switch weight mods, will they shoot the same arrow equally well? Or will there be a rest tuning issue in doing that?

I shot the Lift 29.5, and 33 yesterday. I also brought my Phase 4 29” to compare. I did find that the draw cycle on the Lift was just a skosh more stiff toward the end of the cycle. That was at 54lbs, 29” draw length on the lift 33. The 29.5 Lift was set at 60lbs and that was not a fair comparison to my Phase 4 29 set at 54lbs. Due to shoulder issues my Phase 4 is turned down slightly less than the 60lb mod it has. You are correct on after shooting the 33 for a few shots I couldn’t really notice the difference in the draw cycle. Thats how small of a difference there is IMO. Also the 33 Lift didn’t have a stabilizer on as my P4 does, but nevertheless there was little hand shock. I should have put my stabilizer on it but, oh well. I was thinking about moving to the Lift, but I just may keep on shooting my P4. It is the shortest ata bow I have ever owned. If it wasn’t for that long riser and the pie plate sized cams nock pinch doesn’t seem to be an issue. Gone are the days of 80lb bows for this old dog. I’m glad for very efficient bow technology today. By the way, good fair review

I bought a phase 4 because I was encouraged back in October to get a new model So I went on the website to check it out and couldn’t find anything on the lift which is the hunting model All I could find is the title target bow I called around asking and finally someone told me you could get a lift but you might wait 6 to 8 months So I got the phase 4 cause he had several to choose from It’s still a great bow and was probably the best before this one came out The biggest difference is the shot sense which I can live without The lift will stay in production for a couple of more years and what will they have improved on by the time I get ready for a new one

Any thoughts on the new strings Mathew’s went to on this bow? I didn’t hear you mention it.

All bows in the last 4-6 years are extremely nice to shoot and they all shoot and feel similar! Don’t understand why bow companies try to come up with a new bow every year. I’ve updated bows and even though it’s nice to buy a new bow, I’ve often felt that there’s no real need to because the previous bows shoot just as nice!!

I’m curious to one thing that All Reviewers talk about . HAND SHOCK, but if you are shooting with proper form and correct grip barely any of your hand is touching the riser. Correct? Plus they are not loaded down with our accessories so why harp on handshock? Not being rude, really am just curious
