In this video, we break down the critical rules for parking and stopping to ensure you stay safe and compliant on the road. Whether you're a new driver or just need a refresher, these guidelines are crucial for every motorist:

1. Stopping Distances: You must not stop within 9 meters of a pedestrian crossing or within 6 meters of a tunnel, subway, or bridge.
2. Parking Distances: Parking is prohibited within 5 meters of an intersection, 1.5 meters of a fire hydrant, or 1 meter from the edge of the road (unless in a designated parking bay).
3. Obstructing Traffic: Stopping is not allowed if it obstructs traffic flow, including near excavations or where it would block the road.
4. Road Width Restrictions: You cannot stop or park next to or opposite another vehicle if the road is less than 9 meters wide, and you cannot park where the road is less than 5.5 meters wide.
5. Additional Prohibited Areas: Parking is forbidden in entrances, on sidewalks (unless you are a street vendor), and on painted islands to avoid an accident.
