Watched this movie last night. One of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen. Beautifully animated, drawn, the colours are amazing, the story is beautiful, the music is moving.
Only critique is that Uta didn’t reappear in human form parkouring over the buildings with Hitomi at the end; although it is implied with the bubble following him, I really wish she regained her human form.

i really appreciated this movie a lot, especially considering the autistic/neurodivergent and disabled representation ❤
definitely not what i had expected, when it first came out i saw a lot of people on my timeline saying they found it boring or just didnt like it and stuff, but when i watched it about a week ago i really connected with some of the characters and enjoyed finding potentially hidden meanings and metaphors, regardless of if it even has any canonically, i found my own meanings in it, it really touched my heart
