This is why people love Palworld. The game is ridiculous in many ways, but the devs embrace it and don't take themselves too seriously, unlike certain other developers.

Animated Palword would be a slice of life about a non-descript human (they are literaly a drawn sketch we only see from the back) building the ultimate base for their pals, and our protagonists would be a team of pals trying to work on the base or follow the human to do resource gathering, every now and then facing against wild pals or one of the main factions trying to raid their base because it's too awesome. There's no grand story unfolding, just pals being pals.
