hello! user of g304 for the past 7 months, i would like to add my own experience.

Pros:
1) light
2) good amount of battery even in performance mode.
3) you wont switch back to wired unless you're like me in the cons

Cons:-
1) Big hands like mine, i always lose the mouse while flicking
2) Also pick up the mouse in between readjustments
cause of its smaller size
3) My wired g402 feels more responsive than the g304 (maybe only me cause of the bigger size of g402)

the g304 is a B tier mouse in late 2021. However, there are a few things that can be done to make it S tier:

You can actually put AAA batteries in the mouse instead of large AA batteries. I would not call the default weight of 99G with AA batteries "light weight".

Change the stock mouse feet (very optional).

Play without the cover; this further reduces weight and many people (including myself) didn't have any comfort issues.

I used the g304 for a few years but my main issue was that it was back heavy, after i did these modifications the mouse felt so much better and is truly a steal at its current price provided you at least use a smaller battery to make it lighter and more balanced feeling.
