The Alliance Theatre and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra . . . in New York
In one memorable week, Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra brought their art to New York City. Tuck Everlasting, a musical that had its world premiere at the Alliance in 2015, made its Broadway debut on April 26, 2016. On April 30, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall in tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the ASO’s legendary music director Robert Shaw.
