The hardest parts are summoning igon and mimic before getting oneshot and not being oneshot by his meteor attack. After those i just spammed dragonwound slash with my mimic and we got him over 40 tries but still...

I killed him with my arc/faith build witout mimic tear, but had to summon Igon to hear him scream CURSE YOU BAYLE!!!. Dragon maw and bloodhounds step is great

Definitely better ways to go about it. I went there with 2 Scadutree fragments on my main dex Estoc using character and it took me 30+ tries using mimic and Igon. Then ran through the DLC with two of my other characters and did him in 3 tries on my pure magic character with 7 Scadutree fragments and 1st try on my strength faith character with 8 Scadutree fragments. All characters are 150. All in all, a genuinely good fight with an insane transition phase.
