Sometimes I get pressured when I look at facebook and people are posting their achievements. I'm a private introverted person in real life. And has achievements too, but I don't post it always. but when I look at them it's like people tend to appreciate and accept you only when you have achievements that you post. LOL

Over sharing is probably because people are not satisfied with their real world life. The question is do we really need to share our private life in a virtual social circle ?

Well, people these days find it hard to accept what they are in the real life. They are only after creating an image of themselves, covering up all their flaws, eventually leading to just hiding of the flaws, instead of correcting the flaws in the first place!
This leads to a fake lifestyle, which takes them quite away from acceptance of the real "themselves", which is a dangerous thing!
Hence, such an awareness regarding sharing on social media is necessary. people should know what they are doing, and the real reason behind it.
Cheers!

People want to look good in front of others. They want to build this image... Some ppl want to get back at their ex's, some want to appear successful n rich in front of friends, some want to flaunt their achievements, some want to cry out on social media n get sympathy from ppl, some ppl just want to do it coz everyone is doing

The point is social media life is quite different from real world life. I can't find the significance of sharing our life in a virtual social environment

One person see social media as negative and others see it much differently. From what I understand most will be negative on social media just like every subject in life.🤣

Social media is just sharing from childhood activities to still, who have close persons on their life. It is just ( PM) POST MAN DUTY. WE NEVER SPEND MONEY, BUT WE SPEND MORE TIME. THIS IS MAIN TOPIC. TIME VS MONEY.

I deactivated all of my social media accounts 4 months ago, and it was one of the best things I did. People have no idea how they are influenced by what they see and how much time they spend on it. Specially on Facebook. And if u are that kinda of person who says "its just to share an optimistic version of myself." Well, sorry but that means you are failling of being optimistic to you and to your friends. Because you are doing it as a need and you cant see it.

Facebook and Instagram = Show off.

I used my social media 40% for business 40% to connect to people and only 20% sharing about my day to day. 😊
