The live action looks nice and is probably really good, but you just can't beat the original.

Toothless is more hesitant to touch Hiccup's hand in the animated movie. It shows his own emotions, he's confused and kinda scared too. The live action is like "let's f* Idk man, the movie will be beautiful because the story is beautiful, but the OG is extremely well done and it's unbeatable for me.

Looks great but they didnt add the little hesitation that toothless has in the animated film into the live action one which i feel, whilst small, was an important detail❤

Toothless's eyes, while slightly more expressive in the original, are more vibrant and detailed in the remake. Which I very much love

The only complaint I have is that they're not catching the right expressions from Toothless when he's scared and that Astrid's hair isn't blond, otherwise it looks really great

There's some wrong details on some characters(there's no blonde hair anywhere, ruffnut is fat, and snotlout doesn't look stocky enough), but otherwise so far is looking good. I was wondering if they'll keep the eye mistake or not with toothless.

The theme is FIRE brings me back to the good old days of watching httyd with my family, The music still hits TO THIS DAY and they made it 100x more FIRE

i love the story and the movie series so i know i'll love it, plus they got gerard butler, same actor who did his dad's voice so that's a plus for me. also love the eyes in toothless in the new one. still love the ogs

This looks great. My only problem so far is that Hiccup's actor acts like he's not getting paid enough to be there.
