I worked in a very minor way on the Stallone movie Copland, and hear this Sylvester loves Henry. One night after a long scene Sly was telling the Rocky story to a captive crowd, including Ray Liotta, Sly and gave full credit to Henry in a highly complimentary way. I remember him telling the story like it was yesterday, when he was done, Ray Liotta summed it up beautifully, when he said... 'That's a fucking great story'' as he stood and clapped.

The Fonz is a KING! Henry is so talented at everything he does. I know he has had many great roles but The Fonz is my childhood favorite.

I never knew this history about Rocky but one story I loved was from Carl Weathers. He came in to read for the part of Apollo Creed, and afterwards they told him "we'll call you", he immediately thought he'd missed out on the part and said look if you replace that guy I was reading the part with and give me someone better I think I can do better as he wasn't very good. Unbeknownst to him Sly was the guy reading the part of Rocky and he didn't know him or that he wrote the movie and script. He got the part anyway because Sly liked him, very funny.

I love this guy dearly. He is such a humble character. Even though he is powerful and influential, I have always just seen humility from Henry- and he uses it for good.
An example to all!

Lord's of Flatbush. That is where Fonzie came from. Sly and Henry starred together. It's actually a great 70s independent movie.

Rocky is a gritty, real story. No professional written could have written that movie. Classic from start to finish.

Rocky was a great movie. I've watched it about six times. The interesting thing about it is that doesn't have any extra. There is no fluff. There's nothing to cut out. Stallone wrote a wonderful story. I don't really care for the other Rocky movies but the first one is probably one of the top 10 movies I've ever seen. I've seen a lot of movies.

I love the way Henry took advantage of his Fonz clout to do good and honorable things, like making the Fonz a worthwhile role model for kids.

Great story. Can’t believe I hadnt heard it before. The fact that they aren’t “friends” anymore but more of “acquaintances” since that time really sticks with me. Thats kind of a shame.
