The Dynojet Power Commander is a fuel management system for your bike that helps the rider get the best performance of their machine. The Power Commander is like an electronic jet kit that helps to optimize the fuel to air ratio in the bike for smoother throttle response, and in some cases, torque and horsepower gains. The Power Commander plugs between the stock ECU (electronic control unit) and the injectors on your bike to adjust the amount of fuel that is delivered for optimized performance. The stock tuning on any bike off the lot is optimized for fuel efficiency and emissions control, not for optimal power. By installing a Power Commander V or a Power Commander III, you are able to tune the bike for optimal power by overriding the input from the ECU. Installation varies from bike to bike and can be anywhere from one set of injector wires to connect to 4 full sets for some inline 4 applications. Once installed, Dynojet offers over 20,000 maps to give your bike and your set up, including aftermarket exhaust and air filter changes, the best fuel ratio. Other accessories that can be added to a Power Commander include Autotune, an LCD display, map switches and quick shifters. Whether you run a stock set up on your bike or have invested in upgraded exhaust and air filters, the Dynojet Power Commander will offer a smoother power band and optimized performance of your machine.

Any type of fuel re-mapping typically decreases fuel mileage. Considering that you've also added more oxygen with the air filter and slip-on, you'll definitely be burning more fuel. -CK

the PCV allows you to change your ECU as desired. Autune allows the calibration to take place automatically as your engine goes through its normal cycles. You probably have already gained the benefit of performance by re-flashing the ECU, but you'll have more control over the fuel delivery with a PCV. -CK

Plan on having the bike dyno tuned after adding a power commander. The maps they offer are just a starting point.

I had a dynojet installed on my 2014 Yamaha raider and it sucked down half a tank in 40-45 miles of normal driving. It's back in the shop to try a different tune.

1:36 he says the bike will run cooler because it's not running lean. My dad also said that it's better for the bike to be running rich than lean because it will blow up the valve covers if it's running lean. Why is that? Wouldn't it run hotter and have more risk if there was MORE fuel in the combustion cycle, and not less?

I have a K&N filter, cat delete, o2 delete, two bros slip on.. And I just ordered this PC. Let's see if I feel a big difference once it gets here.

This is a helpful video, I'd like to see more reviews on bike parts and not all rider gear. Don't get me wrong the gear videos are great but there's not near as much for parts

And if you change only with a slip-on exhaust, and let the stock air filter, It's better option?

2005 Ducati Monster S4R is not listed on your site under PCIII. Every other model is except S4R. It is a 996cc Desmo engine

I want a full m4 exhaust for my R3 and was thinking about getting this power commander. I went on their website though to check if they have a map for the m4 and they don't. Does that mean I would have to take everything to a shop for a proper tune?

I have a 07 gsxr 1000 with stock gears, kn air filter and jardine jp1 slip on exhaust. I am just a street rider but still want fuel economy. Do you recommend a pc5 for my set up? I love to ride curves.

I'm not very educated in this product, but I'm interested in learning. I have a (bought new, that has 34k) 06 Suzuki SV650, KN filter, Delkevic slip on. I like and under stand what Alex is saying, but my question is whats, the cons (for my bike) I will notice? And (one more) I'm pretty sure I will need help in choosing what maps are for me. I live in Northeast Florida, but occasionally take my bike to "The Dragons Tail" in TN, NC so I'm sure I will need two maps. I understand the Auto Tuner will help that ride?
