I've seen other reports that the earthquake was 60. to 6.7 and it sure felt every bit that intense, here in my highrise on the 6th floor in Mission Valley.

I slept right through it all whereas my husband felt all of it in his home office here in La Mesa in the 91942, this is a one story home, my husband said there was a lot of shaking, rocking and rolling. and to think I slept through it all.

I got the shake alert in Phoenix. I no longer live in SoCal but I had the app when I did. Praying for all my family and friends still back home. But they had strong shaking as far north as Temecula and Menifee

I work for FedEx, and I was organizing my truck getting ready to head out when it suddenly started shaking. At first, I thought someone was adding more packages to the back. But then I looked over, and all my packages started falling off the shelves. My coworker in the truck next to me goes, “It’s an earthquake!” And I’m like, “Yeah… that’s a strong one!”

My kitten was next to me. We hadn't gotten up yet and she instantly lept off the bed and ran. A couple hours later she was still hiding under a couch. It took hours before she was comfortable walking around the house.

I felt the earthquake but was way more stunned by the shake alert 😮. My cat never moved, and I didn't either because it's the first time that alert on my phone went off

I was in a highrise in downtown San Diego when the MyShake alert came in and it started with a little vibration and then it sounded like the video from Escondido and as if someone lifted the building out of it's foundation and shook it up and town.

We felt it out here by Lake Jennings. Very strong, lasted long enough to freak us out. Stood under the doorway with the dogs then ran outside to check building and property for damage. Now have the car out of the garage.
