First of all, outstanding review. This is the best review on YouTube for this device that I've seen that doesn't just promote it.

I think this device is much too expensive even though it's a bit niche and can do a lot of things for being just one device. The problem I think this product has is the experience that it will deliver. For $650 you can't expect a great Computing experience unless you hook it up to an external monitor with keyboard and mouse.

You can just go buy an Intel nuc for under 300 nowadays and once you kit it out it'll still be under 450. Yes the computing power of this device isn't that bad and may be better than some of the Intel nuc computers. The point is if you wanted great Computing experience for web browsing and some lighter work, that's about all you're going to get once you hook this into a big screen.

The only advantage that this thing has that you can game on the go. And considering that it is the only beneficial usage case of this device then the price of 650 is way too much.

I mean seriously most people nowadays have access to a desktop computer or some laptop or a hand-me-down computer that can handle browsing and other light work tasks way more efficiently then fumbling with this device. So the only real need for this is to have portable gaming.

It is a very cool concept and it's too bad there aren't more companies making devices like this because I think they are really on to something and there is a market for it. Just not enough competition to lower the prices to make it a reasonable purchase for more people. I'd only personally spent about 200 on device like this.

You see I already have a computer like most other people so using this thing as a PC is not appealing. As an emulating device or gaming on the go, it shines, but it doesn't seem like it delivers any new experiences that a standard PC doesn't. And for 650 US dollars in 2018 that's just way too much. Maybe 300 and even then.

All of this of course it's just my opinion and I'm not trying to bash this produc. I just wish many more companies we're competing with it so that it can actually have a chance in the market.

Hope the build quality and the buttons aren't as crappy as the first model. My left analog stick can barely register the right movement after less than 6 months of use.

I just got a gpd win 2 8100y for early christmas present and when I try to set it up it loads up normally then when I get passed cortana and then I get to the “important stuff” my pc then freezes and then I have to reset it! Please help!

If I might suggest something for your future videos. Try to separate your game reviews from your general purpose reviews. While I certainly don't mind a comprehensive review of hardware, the fact is I ended up skipping about half of the video simply because I was dying to see Starcraft 2 running on this.

@Liliputing : Im a nob and have no idea where one could get quality games for this thing so... one question:
If I were to connect a dvd drive and install an original game like Call of Duty just like I have installed on my PC, would this work?
(not asking about fps or graphics quality but if it would run at all)
