This movie made me so fucking happy. It's hard to find a LGBT+ film that doesn't have a huge age gap, or only focused on the hardships we face, or somebody dies. But nobody dies in this movie. Nobody is made fun of for being gay. It's just two boys discovering themselves together. It's absolutely beautiful.

As a 32 year old gay guy that grew up in a latently homophobic environment and didn’t come out until I was 27, I can say that I am sad that I never got to experience young innocent teenage love. I’m glad that society has progressed since I was a teenager. I just wish I could have experienced that teenage romance, but instead I was struggling with self loathing and self acceptance and hiding in the closet.

I’m a bi-sexual teen (boy), and it breaks my heart that all my classmates hate that some of us aren’t straight like them. Makes me really sad and they need to change. It’s 2019, and we are past LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 approval. We need to understand that some of us (like me) can be more then just hate comments. ❤️🏳️‍🌈☮️✝️💟

A lot of people are saying straight girls are fetishising gay men and while I’m not straight I still take offence to it. I’m not fetishising, I just think it’s more of an interesting storyline and more of a surprise when they fall in love with a better build up. I feel the same way about lesbian stories. They’re just more interesting.

I have this movie and the cutest scene for me is when they're in the locker room and Sig takes the hoodie strings of the other boy and is playing with them. It's such a young flirty thing to do. You usually see a girl do that to a boy that she likes. I just found that so cute that he was playing with those strings while he was boy
