Dude! That trick with the little terraforming on the front and back of the dam is brilliant. I knew the power of the dam depended on the height of the water, but I never thought you could cheat by having small high and low spots. I've always looked for maps where I could build the tallest dams possible. I'm going to try this on a map I'm using now that would never produce power with a "normal" dam.

Kinda lengthy to explain in writing.
But you can actually completely drain rivers after placing a dam using the mod with the water supply objects (extended landscaping tools? Name?)
makes terraforming much easier.

Top side of the dam don't need to be deep at all, 5 to 10 lines deep at most. (Which also changes the type of fish)

Bottom side of the dam can be dug all the way down, which will need to be sloped back up downstream.

End results are 1.6 gigawatts every time you place a dam.

You use the exact same map and place i built my first good damn on years ago. Must be a naturally powerfull current there.

You couldn't do this without cheating with unlimited cash as the game would never allow you to waste so much money experimenting with heights of water depths and terraforming changes etc without reaching backrupsty.
