Do it while your hair is wet it might take a while to completely dry some ppl might not like my saying this but put a hair dryer on cold on it when your hair is in to help it dry but I have 2c hair and I can see this helping bc whenever my hair is in a style and it drys in it I feel like I get better results hope this helps

Im also curly, i wash my hair to remove the products, the i part my hair into at least 6 sections, apply oil, a little bit of gel and go to sleep, it looks wonderful in the end
