In the corresponding Cowboys roster move: DeMarcus Lawrence is heading to injured reserve. That was confirmed after Tom finish filming.

The Cowboys signed KJ Henry to a 2-year deal, which isn't actually indicative of anything. Henry was a 2023 NFL Draft pick and doesn't have the accrued seasons to reach restricted free agency. so it's no different than when the Cowboys sign UDFAs to a 3-year deals.

This is a great pick up.. You don’t have to give up any draft capital and there is no reason to pay for a big name bandaid that ultimately is not gonna make a a difference this year..

I honestly see why Jerry doesn’t wanna trade for a de, yes we really need a de RIGHT NOW however we would be giving up valuable draft capital and we already have two star de’s that will be returning in a few weeks. However, we should definitely be trading for atleast a rb and cb.
