Had a rough weekend. Had rough few months. Been hanging in there because of their songs. I always felt this is my go to place when life is not going good. This weekend my friends got into me for following Coldplay too much. They didn’t like it much when I told stories about certain songs or how they came up with some ideas, or a live performance. It’s not like they don’t like Coldplay but they didn’t appreciate it much when I tried sharing stuff about this. I don’t blame them at all here but for sometime I just felt so bad that I felt bad about even following the band so much. Maybe it’s just stupid to care so much about a music band. Either ways I kind of waited for the weekend to end and be locked up in my apartment and I ended up here listening to this. Sometimes you find strength from sources which aren’t very common. For me probably it’s music and Coldplay songs does kind of help there. I had moments in my past where I felt extreme amount of grief and pain and was close to giving up but listening to Fix You kept me going. It’s a weird comment. Just felt like venting and at the same time say that I appreciate Coldplay exists.

Think of it this way. If you were always happy what would be the point in getting up in the morning. Sadness is a fundamental feeling we need to keep moving forward so see every emotion as a blessing like Chris does. Happiness isn’t a thing, it just became one, look around nobody has found it. Don’t chase stupid things like money or fame it’s just societal cravings we have and stems from people’s insecurities. You can never satisfy your cravings as humans we will always have a desire to want more.
What I’m trying to say is we have a limited time alive so don’t waist it going after things that don’t matter, the only thing that can satisfy is your loved ones, so cherish them. This doesn’t mean don't chase something you like for example, if you want to be a musician go for it, but I’m saying don’t do it for the wrong reasons like money and status do it because you love it.
